Cape Town’s Trendy Pot Luck Club was the setting for an intimate gathering of Industry friends as the Concepts Collection team said thanks for another successful season of flagship projects.
Over 80 guests from across the events, travel and hospitality industry were treated to stunning views across the city, Über- stylish candle-lit surroundings and an innovative and imaginative fine dining experience from acclaimed chef Luke Dale Roberts and his talented team.
A canapés style 3 course tapas menu was a sensational highlight of the evening where guests experienced a mix of both fusion and classically influenced dishes. Starters included fresh Oysters, spiced Fish Tacos and Tuna Tataki. Main course delighted with crispy Duck Spring Rolls, Pork Belly with XO, mini Mushrooms on Toast and grilled Prawn Tom Yum butter. Dessert was sensational with interesting flavour combinations like Tonka Churros with melted chocolate, Mini Eaton-Mess, Miso and Orange Cheesecake and the conversation piece of the night: a Pop Corn shake! All this incredible food accompanied a warm and somewhat emotional welcome and thank you from our group CEO Richard. With excellent wines from the Beaumont, Newton- Johnson and the Sadie family wine estates, everyone joined in toasting the evening as a real family affair.
