The 20th edition of the Investing in African Mining Indaba welcome more than 7, 250 global professionals including 2,100 international companies from six continents, 37 African government delegations and 10 non-African government delegations, converged for the world’s premier mining investment event. This is one of South Africa’s biggest events with thousands of delegates descending on Cape Town for three days of back-to-back conferencing and discussions. The world’s top financial institutions were out in force and Event Concepts were asked by a leading international bank to arrange a stylish but intimate lunch function for their top clients.
With an emphasis on strengthening their commodities capability and stakeholder relationships, the intimate event focused on a high level panel level discussion and networking opportunity. Stylish décor reflecting our client’s corporate colours and subtle branding was paramount, as was the location and fine dining experience.
Top Cape Town restaurant, Aubergine, provided the perfect environment with the event being set up in their private dining venue – Auslese. The Event Concepts team then expertly transformed the historic venue with bespoke floral décor and a contemporary design approach, making the setting a striking modern contrast set amongst the Dutch Settler antiques and interiors of it’s venue.
