Event Concepts Excels at Exclusive Gala Event.
Expectations were high when our banking clients commissioned Event Concepts to design and deliver their first ever Business Innovation Awards. A Gala event recognising and rewarding outstanding entrepreneurship, the evening was to be celebrated by over 200 VIP guests from the corporate world and selected finalists from seven of South Africa’s most high impact entrepreneurial businesses.
Befitting the occasion a “wow” factor event was expected, with a brief to showcase the finalists in an innovative, stylish, sophisticated setting and ultra-contemporary in design. From venue selection, to creative interpretation and décor concepts, entertainment choices, supplier and RSVP management, to overall project and on site management the event was six months in the planning and execution and was truly a full service event management project in every way.
The Campus at the Forum played host to the exclusive black tie dinner, with guests entertained by the electrifying Stirling EQ, followed by Elegant Entertainment’s innovative surprise “Singing Waiters” Act which ended with a standing ovation! Managing Director at Power FM, Andile Khumalo was the dynamic MC for the evening and flawlessly guided guests through the evening.
At the end of the evening Bruce Morgan, Founder of Cape Town based GreatSoft CRM, was named as South Africa’s Business Innovator of the year and highly commended for contributing to economic growth through high quality job creation. His prize is an all-expenses-paid invitation to attend the prestigious Endeavor International Selection Panel (ISP) in San Francisco. Here the winner will have an opportunity to discuss their business with global business leaders, meet top investors, and rub shoulders with their peers from around the world.
As the dust settled on a hugely successful evening the Event Concepts team were delighted to be congratulated by senior executives from the bank who said it was beyond their high expectations and without doubt the best and most exclusive event the bank had ever held.
